
Pre-Conference Workshop
We are very excited to share that we'll be offering the opportunity for another pre-conference training session with Firelight!
Returning delegates as well as new guests are welcome to register. This session has been designed for First Nation leaders, economic development officers, and administrative staff, but as we have additional space available this year, other delegates including private and/or non-First Nation guests are eligible.
Fee includes full-day training, refreshments, lunch, and online resources.

This session is part of Farm Credit Canada’s Indigenous Agriculture and Food Systems (IAFS) initiative, delivered in partnership with Mokwateh, and is designed to create space for open dialogue, peer learning, and shared reflection.
The workshop brings together First Nation leaders, Economic Development Officers, and community representatives to explore how Indigenous communities are engaging in food systems — what is working, where challenges remain, and what supports are needed to strengthen community-led food sovereignty and economic resilience.
