Scott Miller

Scott Miller is a Forest Industry Development Advisor with the Ministry of Natural Resources’ Forest Industry Division and brings over 35 years of experience in forestry. His work has focused on regional economic development in forest-based communities, growing the forest bioeconomy, and supporting First Nations in participating in and benefiting from forest resources. In his role with MNR, Scott advances Ontario’s forest sector through strategic investment, bioeconomy development, and cross-government collaboration, working closely with industry and Indigenous communities to support economic development and capacity building. He remains actively involved in Canada’s evolving bioeconomy, contributing to technical teams that promote innovation and modernization across the forest sector.
