"Jason is a member of MNP’s Tax Services team in Thunder Bay, bringing more than two decades of professional experience. He provides tax planning and tax-efficient business structuring advice to owner-managed businesses as well as Indigenous businesses and individuals. His work with First Nation clients—including Tribal Councils, First Nations, and First Nation–owned businesses—focuses on establishing tax-efficient business structures that integrate strong governance and management principles.
Jason also draws on more than a decade of experience in international tax matters, coordinating U.S. and international-related tax issues for MNP’s Thunder Bay office.
Education and Designations: Jason earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from Lakehead University in 1997. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1999, completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course in 2013, and holds the designation of Chartered Tax Advisor (UK), earned in 2003."
