Daniel Bath is a Research Scientist in Horticultural Automation at Vineland Research and Innovation Centre, where he leads projects advancing sustainable horticulture through technologies like greenhouse systems, robotics, computer vision, and data-driven solutions—particularly for Northern environments. With expertise in applied horticultural innovation, Dan has contributed to initiatives such as the Technology Roadmap for Horticulture in Northern Ontario, partnering with the Independent First Nations Alliance (IFNA) to support Indigenous communities in developing self-sufficient food systems via tailored assessments, climate-resilient production, and circular economy integrations. His work focuses on practical, collaborative approaches that enhance local food security, economic opportunities, and community resilience across Canada.
